![]() I shot a wedding at a hundred year-old mansion last weekend. I liked the bride's vintage and glamorous style. Not only was the wedding elegant and fun, but it also was filled with original ideas. One idea that really jumped out to me was: Each table number was accompanied by a pair of photographs of the bride and groom at that age. I like personal touches, since a wedding is about the lives of these two people. It was a conversational piece, and interesting to see their young lives juxtaposed to one another.

![]() My blog is intended to bring light to original and neat ideas that I see at weddings. Almost eight years ago I married Rich. Every morning when I wake up beside him, I am in awe with how lucky I am to be so happy in love. There is no place more comfortable than in his arms. Our wedding was the best day of my life. One of our goals was to make our wedding fun. And since we met on Halloween, we decided to have a Hallowedding. We stayed away from pumpkins, opting for glow-in-the-dark. We spent nearly a year planning all the details from the bagpiper to the the bleeding cake, and enjoyed every minute. The bridesmaids were pirates, and the groomsmen, robots. We enjoyed seeing the creative costumes that our guests wore- everything from the Joker to Gem; it was truly outrageous. Some of the more unique things we did were:
